Lore & Trivia
Overview
The Command An Army roster is built from two places: the starter units you pick after the tutorial, and a summon system that drops additional troops. Because your army is capped by Star Limit, owning a strong unit does not always mean you can field it. This page lists the confirmed unit pool, what each role does, and how the cap shapes your squad.
Verified by RoboLibrary Editorial on September 7, 2026 at 18:00 UTC: The unit names and roles below were cross-checked against the official Roblox experience page and documented gameplay material. The roster is the confirmed sample rather than a complete list, and single-source values are marked in the Notes section.
Confirmed Unit Roster
The developer has not published a full in-game index, so the list below is the confirmed sample documented from the tutorial and the summon banner. The roster is expected to grow with the next release event.
| Unit | Type | Where It Comes From | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercenary | Melee | Starter selection | All-round body; useful in most matchups |
| Shieldman | Shield | Starter selection | Holds ground and blunts frontal pushes |
| Spearman | Polearm | Starter selection | Anti-cavalry reach and defensive line body |
| Archer | Ranged | Starter selection | Ranged pressure from behind the front line |
| Knight | Shock | Tutorial sequence | Breaks structures and charges a defended gate |
| Spartan | Elite | Standard Banner summon | High-value combat unit |
| Immortal | Elite | Standard Banner summon | Resilient melee with strong staying power |
| Crossbowman | Ranged | Standard Banner summon | Ranged support with higher individual output |
| Scout Rider | Cavalry | Standard Banner summon | Fast-mounted unit for flanking and rush plays |
Classes
Three classes decide how your own character fights, not what the troops do, so they pair with your roster rather than replacing it:
| Class | Style |
|---|---|
| Assassin | Fast movement with strong single-target damage |
| Sword & Shield | Balanced mobility and defense |
| Hammer | Heavy hits but slower movement |
You can buy a class switch between matches, so you are not locked into a first pick.
Star Limit
Every troop has a star value, and your account has a Star Limit that caps the combined star total of everything you equip at once. The cap rises as you level up.
- Until the cap grows, a single high-star summon can consume most of your budget.
- The game refuses to equip a unit when it would push you over the cap, so a fresh summon is not automatically usable.
- A limit around 6 is roughly where you can add one more body beside your main squad.
The practical rule: equip the highest-value troops you can afford within the cap, and keep cheaper starter units available early so you are not blocked from fielding a full squad.
Upgrade Guidance
Spend upgrades on the troops you actually use rather than spreading thin. Because the cap limits how many units you field at once, a focused squad of two or three good units usually beats a scattered roster. Keep at least one cheap body in reserve so a single loss does not leave you empty-handed.
Notes
The summon prices (one pull for 50 Gems, a ten-pull for 500 Gems) and the class-switch cost (50 Gems) are reported from a single documented gameplay source and are not yet cross-confirmed on a second channel. The exact starting Star Limit is approximate and shifts as your account levels.
