Lore & Trivia

Overview

Command An Army hands you a small AI squad instead of a single avatar, then asks one question every round: push the capture line, or hold it. The Fight, Fight, Fight! release runs 12-player team matches where the commander moves troops with four shareable orders, gated by a Star Limit that decides what you can actually field.

Verified by RoboLibrary Editorial on September 7, 2026 at 18:00 UTC: The identity and systems below were cross-checked against the official Roblox experience page and independent community reference guides. Confirmed facts come from documented public sources, and single-source values are flagged in the Notes section.

The first match sets up the loop: pick a class, equip troops up to your Star Limit, then use the four squadron commands (Follow, Hold, Attack, Rush) to move onto the capture points. A round ends when the attacker reaches the Capture Base or the defender holds them off.

Classes

Three classes are available: Assassin, Sword & Shield, and Hammer. Your class changes how your own character fights, not what the troops do, so the pick drives your personal mobility, block, and damage rather than squad composition. You can buy a class switch between matches using Gems.

Four Commands

Every unit you bring answers to the same four orders, and the tutorial walks you through all of them:

CommandEffect
FollowTrails behind your character as you move
HoldStays on a fixed spot and defends it
AttackEngages a target you designate
RushCharges forward aggressively

Hold is the order that gets tested directly in the tutorial, so it is worth learning first. It pairs with defensive formations when you are holding a captured point.

Units & Star Limit

Your army is built from troops you unlock through the starter selection and a summon system. The confirmed pool spans melee bodies, shield bearers, polearm units, ranged support, cavalry, and a couple of elite summons. The full roster is not published, and a new release event is scheduled to add more units.

Every troop carries a star value, and your Star Limit caps the combined star total of everything equipped at once. The limit rises as your account levels up, so until it does, one high-star summon can eat most of your budget. Reaching about Star Limit 6 opens room for an extra body beside your main squad. See the full Units reference.

Formations

Beyond the four orders, troops can be set into formations that change how they hold ground. A Triangle formation concentrates a charge on one spot and suits fast cavalry, while a hold-style Shield Wall lines up shield bearers to blunt a push. Match the formation to the objective before you move.

Match Flow: Attack or Defend

Each round assigns your team as ATTACKER or DEFENDER. Matches are small team fights, including three-versus-three, and victory runs through objectives rather than kill counts:

  1. Move onto Capture Point A, usually the opening target.
  2. Secure Capture Point B once the first is held.
  3. Push to the Capture Base as the final objective.

Cannons sit on the map and can be used to soften a defended point before you commit troops. A win awards roughly 75 Gems.

Codes

Promotional codes grant free Gems for summoning and upgrades. The active list is maintained on the Codes page and comes from the official channels rather than third-party lists.

Progression Path

  1. Early Game – Finish the tutorial, pick a class, and choose from the starter pool (Mercenary, Shieldman, Spearman, Archer).
  2. Mid Game – Summon on the Standard Banner for higher-value troops and raise your Star Limit so you can field them.
  3. Late Game – Combine the strongest summons with the right formation for the objective and upgrade the troops you actually use.

Notes

The summon prices (one pull for 50 Gems, a ten-pull for 500 Gems), the class-switch cost (50 Gems), and the starting map name are reported from a single documented gameplay source and are not yet cross-confirmed on a second independent channel. The Star Limit starting value is likewise approximate and shifts as you level.

Command An Army Wiki FAQ

What is Command An Army in Roblox?

It is a team-versus-team battleground by Fight, Fight, Fight! where you command a small AI squad, capture points, use formations, and choose to attack or defend each round.

How do you win a match?

As the attacker, clear Capture Points A and B, then reach the Capture Base. As the defender, stop the push before the base falls. Matches are objective-based, not kill-based.

What is the Star Limit?

It is the combined star total you can equip at once. Your account limit rises with level, so early squads rely on cheaper starter troops until the cap grows.

Which class should I pick first?

Pick based on your own playstyle: Hammer hits hard but moves slow, Assassin is fast with strong single-target damage, and Sword & Shield balances mobility and defense. You can switch later with Gems.

Where do new codes come from?

New codes are announced through the game's official Discord server and the Fight, Fight, Fight! Roblox community group.
