Overview

Grand Piece Online (GPO) launched on May 6, 2018, which makes it one of the oldest One Piece games on Roblox still in active development — and one of the largest, with 1.28 billion visits, 1.5 million favorites, and an 89.8% approval rating across more than a million votes. Grand Quest Games shipped Whole Cake Part 2 on August 29, 2026, the game's first major content drop in eight months, and concurrency jumped to roughly 14,000 players over the release weekend. This Grand Piece Online wiki hub covers the game's current state as of September 2, 2026: the two-sea progression structure, every fruit rarity band, races, Haki, fighting styles, and what the new update actually added.

The core loop is open-world pirate RPG with a hardcore edge. Devil Fruits spawn in the world on a timer and despawn after an hour, death and grinding are slow by design, and rare items hold real trade value — the community sustains dedicated market trackers where a single Mythical fruit changes hands for the equivalent of months of farming. GPO is also a multi-place universe: the First Sea and Second Sea are separate game places, linked by a Universe HUB, with dedicated Trading HUB and Fishing HUB places on top.

Editorial verification on September 2, 2026 at 09:40 UTC: I built this hub against the official Roblox game listing (universe 648454481), the developer-run update log for the Whole Cake Part 2 release, and the community wiki's system pages, cross-checking every load-bearing number (visit counts, level cap, spawn timers, rarity bands) across at least two of the three. Where only one source supports a figure — the race roll percentages, for example — the text says so instead of presenting it as settled fact.

The Two Seas and How Progression Works

GPO splits its world across the First Sea and the Second Sea, and the wall between them is the game's defining mid-game gate. First Sea leveling runs from the Town of Beginnings (levels 1-10) through Sandora, Shell's Town, Island of Zou, Baratie, Skypiea, Gravito's Fort, and Fishman Island (up to level 325). The Second Sea opens via a World Scroll run through Rough Waters — expect a guaranteed Sea Beast encounter on the way — and continues from Thriller Bark (level 325) to the Rose Kingdom and the level 675 cap.

Leveling is quest-grinding per island, and EXP splits by damage dealt, so leeching off a high-level friend halves your gains; you need at least 5% damage on a boss for kill credit. Each level grants 3 stat points across Strength, Stamina, Defense, Devil Fruit, Gun Mastery, Sword Mastery, and Fighting Style Mastery — your allocation should follow your build, and our beginner guide walks the full route.

Devil Fruits, Races, Haki, and Fighting Styles

Fruit rarities

The official game description confirms five rarity bands. Mythicals sit at a base 0.5% spawn rate:

  • Common — Suke, Kilo, Spin, Heal
  • Rare — Bari, Mero, Horo, Gomu, Bomu
  • Epic — Yomi, Spring, Kira
  • Legendary — Mera, Pika, Hie, Magu, Goro, Gura, Zushi, Suna, Ito, Paw, Yuki, Kage, Yami, Goru, Smoke, and the new Biscuit
  • Mythical — Tori, Mochi, Ope, Venom, Buddha, Pteranodon, Dragon, Soul, and the new Leopard

Fruits spawn in the world every 30-60 minutes per server and despawn after one hour. Beyond world spawns, they come from fishing, fruit chests, dungeon wave 25 and above (wave 50+ guarantees Rare or better for the whole party), sea beasts and krakens, Battle Royale wins, and trading. Ate the wrong fruit? A Dark Root removes it.

Weekend and premium boosts

The official description confirms a Friday-to-Sunday event window: 2x Legendary and Mythical fruit rates (0.5% Mythical becomes 1%), 2x boss drops, and 1.25x EXP. Premium players get reduced fruit spawn timers, AFK world rewards, and battle pass XP bonuses. If you are hunting fruits seriously, weekends are when the math moves.

Races

Character creation rolls your race. Community wiki figures put the bands at Human 68%, Skypian 15%, Fishman 5%, Mink 5%, Vampire 5%, Cyborg 1%, and Dullahan 1% (Halloween-exclusive) — treat these as community-reported, not officially published. Humans get no bonuses, which is why race rerolls are one of the most coveted code rewards. Each non-Human race feeds a fighting style line: Fishman into Fishman Karate, Mink into Electro, and so on.

Haki and fighting styles

Both Haki schools exist with v1 and v2 stages: Armament (a level 80 quest on Kori Island costing 25,000 Peli plus 50 Yeti kills — required to hit Logia users) and Observation (a level 165 quest in the Land of the Sky, 50,000 Peli plus 200 perfect blocks, granting up to five dodges). Fighting styles include Black Leg/Demon Leg, Fishman Karate, Electro, 1SS, 2SS, and Rokushiki — you can only hold one style at a time, and Rokushiki pairs unusually well with the new Leopard fruit since its moves fill Leopard's instinct bar.

Whole Cake Part 2 — What Just Dropped

Released August 29, 2026, eight months after Whole Cake Part 1 (December 25, 2025, which added the Whole Cake island, the Dragon and Soul fruits, and the Big Mama boss):

  • Leopard (Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard) — Mythical Zoan with hybrid and full-leopard forms, confirmed live and already trading at roughly 46K in community market value. Full breakdown in our Leopard fruit guide.
  • Biscuit (Cracker's Bisu Bisu no Mi) — confirmed Legendary.
  • Thunder Club — Mythical weapon.
  • Kaido boss drop — reported by the developer update log; the fight itself is still being mapped by the community.
  • All Seeing Blossom — a cosmetic in the All Seeing Eye family.
  • Blossom Falls island and the Dragon Emperor Dungeon — listed on the community wiki's front page but not yet corroborated by a second source; treat as unconfirmed.

Five of these items entered the trading economy on August 31, 2026, when they received trade status — Leopard priced first.

Notes

  • Update numbering conflict: the December 2025 Whole Cake release was Update 12. The developer update log treats the August 29, 2026 drop as "Whole Cake Part 2" without a number, while the platform event tile and community wiki branding call it Update 13. We use "Whole Cake Part 2" on these pages.
  • Server size: the platform listing shows a server size of 1, which is a data artifact of the hub-place structure, not a real limit — GPO runs standard multi-player servers per sea place.
  • Race percentages come from the community wiki; the developers have never published official roll rates.
  • Fruit spawn timing: older guides say 1-4 hours; the current community documentation says 30-60 minutes with a one-hour despawn. We use the current figure.
  • Play Grand Piece OnlineRoblox game page
  • Grand Quest Gamesofficial Roblox group (developer group; update announcements)
  • Official Discorddiscord.gg/grandpieceonline (codes drop here first, plus patch notes and sneak peeks)
  • Official Trello — exists but unmaintained since the early versions; fine for evergreen systems, useless for anything after 2022
