Guide Details
Overview
Anime Dice runs on one loop: cash buys Luck, Luck buys rarer anime units, and rarer units earn more cash. Towers, rebirth, and the Index exist only to accelerate that cycle. The mistake that stalls most new plots is spreading money across every upgrade node, which slows the whole loop down. This guide walks the first hour and the first few rebirths in the order that actually moves the multiplier.

The First Hour
Follow these steps in order on your first plot.
Step 1 — Redeem every live code
Open the Shop (basket) button on the left, scroll to the bottom to the Codes tab, and claim every live code listed on the Anime Dice Codes page. The bundle of Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls, and Gems jump-starts your first session without touching cash.
Step 2 — Fill every plot pad
Roll, then place every unit — even Commons. Empty pads waste offline cash, and this game keeps generating income while you are logged out. A full plot is worth more than one showpiece unit.
Step 3 — Lock your best units
Open your inventory and press Equip Best before you sell anything. That moves your strongest units onto the active team so a careless bulk sell cannot vendor them.
Step 4 — Spend cash on Luck and Money
Walk to the upgrade tree and put your cash into the Luck and Money nodes first. Better Luck is how you climb the rarity ladder that actually prints money; better Money funds that Luck.
Step 5 — Buy a better dice tier
Visit the Dice Shop and buy the highest lucky dice you can comfortably afford, then rebuild your cash. Storm at $200M is the first big milestone — 400x Luck changes what your rolls can realistically produce.
Step 6 — Reroll traits on keepers only
Trait Rerolls overwrite the unit's current trait. Spend them on high-rarity or mutated units, never on a Common you will vendor next pack.
Step 7 — Rebirth once cash stalls
When upgrades start to feel expensive and your plot is full of keepers, hit the $500M rebirth. Reset, collect the post-reset cash, and start the loop again with the higher Luck multiplier.
Upgrade Priority
The upgrade tree has seven categories and they are not equal. Luck and Money feed each other, so they come first and stay first through every rebirth.
| Priority | Upgrade nodes | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| First | Luck I–VI, Money I–VI | Drives rarer pulls and faster income — the core loop |
| Second | Roll Speed I–II, Unit Storage I–IV | More rolls per session and room to hold what you pull |
| Third | Sell I–III, Walkspeed I–III | Better returns when clearing inventory; quicker movement |
| Last | Damage I–V, Health I–V | Only used inside Tower combat, not when rolling |
Dice Shop Milestones
Dice are the single biggest Luck lever, and each tier is a large jump over the last.
| Dice | Rarity | Luck | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lightning | Rare | 42x | $500K |
| Ice | Rare | 100x | $4M |
| Magma | Epic | 200x | $30M |
| Storm | Epic | 400x | $200M |
| Shadow | Epic | 750x | $1.5B |
| Light | Legendary | 1,500x | $12B |
| Blood Moon | Legendary | 3,000x | $100B |
| Void | Legendary | 5,000x | $1.5T |
Buy the best tier you can afford and rebuild, rather than saving long-term for a tier far above your income. The jump from Magma to Storm is the one worth aiming for early, because the 400x Luck that follows changes your pull odds.
Inventory Discipline
Storage fills fast once your Luck climbs, and selling is how you convert junk pulls into upgrade money. Equip Best first, then sell the rest. Clearing everything not equipped at the Sell stand turns it straight back into cash for Luck and Money nodes.
One exception: hold rare mutations even if the base unit is not your strongest. Mutations are part of the collection layer, and a replacement is not something you can plan around. Collect your offline earnings on return and reinvest them immediately rather than letting them sit idle.
Rebirth Timing
Rebirth is the moment your loop accelerates. It costs $500M, resets your cash, and moves your permanent multipliers up — 2x Luck becomes 2.5x Luck and 2x Cash becomes 2.5x Cash. Because the reset only touches cash, money left in your wallet at trigger time is lost.
The safe sequence is: check your balance, dump the surplus above $500M into Luck and Money nodes, put whatever remains toward the next dice tier, then open the Rebirth menu and confirm. Cash drops to zero, the multipliers update, and the cleaner Luck makes early post-reset rolls land in the one-in-hundreds-of-thousands range.
Common Mistakes
Spreading cash across every node
Filling every category evenly stalls the loop. Concentrate on Luck and Money first, add Roll Speed and Unit Storage second, and leave Damage and Health until you are pushing Towers.
Selling your best unit
A bulk sell without Equip Best first can vendor the unit you spent an hour chasing. Lock your roster before you clear inventory.
Wasting Trait Rerolls on fillers
Rerolls are limited. Spending them on a Common you will replace gets you nothing. Save them for keepers that survive the unit value fields.
Rebirth before spending down
If you trigger rebirth with a large balance, that cash is gone. Spend to just above the threshold first.

FAQ
What should I do first in Anime Dice?
Redeem every live code for a bundle of Lucky Spins, Trait Rerolls, and Gems, then fill every plot pad, even with Commons. Empty pads waste cash that a full plot would be generating, including offline.
What upgrades should I buy first in Anime Dice?
Spend cash on the Luck and Money nodes first. Luck raises your odds of pulling rarer units and Money raises your income to fund more Luck; the two feed each other and stay first through every rebirth.
When should I rebirth in Anime Dice?
Rebirth once you reach $500M. It resets your cash but moves your Luck and Cash multipliers from 2x to 2.5x. Spend your surplus above $500M into upgrade nodes or dice before you trigger it.
Why is my Anime Dice progress slow?
The usual cause is spreading money across every upgrade node instead of concentrating on Luck and Money, plus not filling your plot or equipping your best units before a bulk sell. Fix those and the loop speeds up.
Should I replace a unit just because it looks strong?
No. Judge units by rarity band, mutation, trait, and grade, not by their portrait. A strong trait or a mutation can make an older unit more valuable than a fresh roll that only looks better.
How does the Dice Shop fit into progression?
Buy the best dice tier you can comfortably afford — Storm at $200M is the first real milestone at 400x Luck — then rebuild your cash and keep moving instead of saving long-term for a far-off tier.
