Pixel Blade Wiki: World 5, Chronos and the 2.1.1 Build

Pixel Blade Chronos VAULTED weapon card on the left showing a golden pixel-art clockwork polearm with a toothed gear disc and a long blade, with the in-image damage line 4,628.0 +2,596.4, beside a blocky white, red and charcoal clockwork boss whose body is built from concentric gear rings

Pixel Blade moved to version 2.1.1 and opened World 5, and the set that matters is no longer the vaulted gear people were arguing about a month ago — the rarest weapon is now Rifter, and the wish counter was raised rather than lowered.

Lore & Trivia

Overview

Pixel Blade is a Roblox action RPG and roguelite dungeon crawler from Frost Blade Games, first published on June 23, 2024 and taken to full release in September 2026. Lead scripter Comet and designer Fudge ship in short numbered builds, and the live build is currently version 2.1.1, updated October 16, 2026 — the build that opened World 5 and put the Chronos vaulted set behind the Wishes economy.

This Pixel Blade wiki tracks that live build rather than the full-release version, because the two disagree on the details players search for most. This hub covers what the World 5 additions changed, how the Chronos set and its star track operate on build 2.1.1, how the Wishes economy gates the endgame loadout, and where the quest line stalls real progression. String-level detail lives on the Pixel Blade codes subpage, and the set itself gets a full breakdown in the Chronos set guide.

The page was carrying a 2x Wishes weekend banner covering October 16 to 18, 2026, and a W5 Nightmare & More! event scheduled for October 18 at 8:00 PM. Both are event-window facts rather than build facts, which is why they are recorded here with dates instead of being folded into the systems below.

What World 5 Adds

World 5 — The Sunken Depths opened on October 11, 2026 as the first world of Arc 2. The community patch record for version 2.1.0 lists three headline additions: the new world, the limited-time Vaulted Chronos Set, and the Wishes system that feeds it.

The world itself is a water-themed dungeon run with the same room structure as earlier worlds plus additions that change routing:

  • Multiple enemy waves inside a single room. Where earlier worlds generally resolved a room in one wave, World 5 rooms can chain two or more, so a build that only survives one burst will lose its spirits to the second.
  • Void chests and sunken chests drop alongside the existing tiers and need the same key logic as dark chests.
  • An illusionist enemy type clones itself, which splits damage targeting and makes single-target abilities inefficient.
  • A campfire room appears mid-run as a restore point.
  • The final boss arena contains statues. Breaking them is optional — recorded footage shows the boss can be attacked directly without clearing the statues first, so a player who ignores them loses no progress.

The final boss is named in the community patch record as Morvik, the Ghost Lord, and the same record lists it as the boss source for wishes.

Fighting Morvik, the World 5 Final Boss

Morvik enters a second phase with a shield that has to be broken, and the acknowledged problem in recorded footage is his hitbox rather than his damage. A player who can solo the earlier worlds reported that his attacks are readable but that melee whiffs on a model whose visual size does not match the area that accepts hits.

Two practical notes come out of that footage. First, ranged or wide-arc abilities are worth more here than raw damage, because the fight punishes standing in contact range. Second, the shield phase is a damage check rather than a mechanic: nothing in the arena removes it early, so a build that cannot burst it down will simply take longer.

The fight also confirms the world's difficulty intent. The same player described normal mode on World 5 as taking more damage than expected despite running tier 6 legendary gear, which makes World 5 the first world where the gear floor is a real gate rather than a suggestion.

How the Chronos Set Actually Works

The Chronos set is the vaulted weapon-and-armor pair introduced with World 5, and it behaves unlike any previous vaulted set: the Chronos Blade and Chronos Armor share one evolution track, so a single star applies to both pieces. The evolution panel states that the set starts at the highest world you have unlocked, which means a player who has only cleared World 1 receives a World 1-strength version of a World 5 set.

Holding Bloodmoon and Eclipse are not the same thing, and this is the distinction most coverage collapses. The blade carries the offensive half of the kit — the time bubble, the fractured-time stacks and the charge ability. The armor carries the defensive half — the rewind trigger unlocked at tier 2 and the healing extension at tier 4. A player who owns only one piece has half a set.

Chronos Star Costs by World

Evolution is paid in Coins at the Armory, and the cost steps up with each world the star unlocks at. Because both pieces share the track, each row below is paid once for the whole set.

StarUnlocks atCost
1Grasslands (World 1)Free
2Ancient Sands1,000
3Haunted Tundra3,000
4Crimson Abyss7,000
5Sunken Depths10,000

The arena layout and enemy density in World 5 are visible in this capture of a comparable Pixel Blade boss encounter:

Pixel Blade boss encounter in the Grasslands: the player's dark armoured character with a red and black glowing scythe lunges toward a blocky pixel-art lumberjack boss labelled John, whose health bar spans the top of the screen above a green voxel forest

The practical reading of the table is that stars 1 through 3 arrive almost passively while a player works through the campaign, and the real spend is stars 4 and 5 at 7,000 and 10,000 Coins. That is the point where a wish-heavy player stops and a coin-farming player keeps going.

Wishes, Pity and the Numbers That Went Stale

Wishes are the currency that buys vaulted pulls, and the live build documents four sources: fishing, defeating the World 5 final boss, daily rewards, and paying Robux. The official description names the first three directly.

The number worth correcting is the pity counter. A recording from the October 2025 build shows the banner stating a guaranteed vaulted every 25 wishes with a 5% vaulted chance per pull. A recording of the October 11, 2026 build states plainly that the threshold "used to be 25" and was increased — the player loses a pity attempt after roughly 30 pulls. Any guide still quoting 25 wishes as the guarantee is describing a build that no longer exists.

What the current build does not do is help with duplicates. Vaulted pieces combine the way other gear does, so the first copy of the Chronos Blade is a cosmetic upgrade and the fourth or fifth is where the set actually gains power. Recorded pulls show a player spending a couple of hundred wishes and landing one blade and one late armor, with the duplicate pieces — not the first unlock — being the scarce item.

One purchase detail is easy to miss: a bundle in the shop grants 60 wishes, every colourway of the set and 15 class dice in a single transaction, which is a materially better rate than buying wishes alone if the cosmetics are wanted anyway.

Where the Quest Line Spikes

The full-release rebuild replaced the old quest board with auto-assigned quests that stack past fourteen at once, and the early steps are cheap. The problem is the tail of each world's chain.

Recorded play of the world 1 chain reached quest 7 and found it asking for roughly 200 kills of specific enemy types, with motor goblins and cannon goblins spawning around 5 to 8 times per match. At that rate the step needs on the order of 30 to 50 runs for those two counters alone. Quest 6 also does not signal that quest 7 exists, so the natural assumption after finishing six is that the world is clear.

Two behaviours make it worse. Quest counters do not credit items you already hold — a step asking for a dark key ignores the keys in your inventory and requires catching a fresh one — and raid clears fill most counters but not the artillery goblin ones. A recorded appeal to the developers asked for the artillery counters to be lowered or folded into raids, and the response was described as planned but undated.

The workable policy is to stop a world's chain at the step you need and take the wish rewards you have already banked, because the later steps pay in wishes and dice rather than in anything unique.

FAQ

What is the newest Pixel Blade update?

The live build is 2.1.1, with the listing updated October 16, 2026. The substantive content update in this window was 2.1.0, which added World 5 — The Sunken Depths, the limited-time Vaulted Chronos Set, and the Wishes system.

What is the rarest weapon in Pixel Blade right now?

Rifter, named in the official description as of October 16, 2026. It replaced Atlantis, which the description named while the build was at 2.0.10 in early October. Any page still calling Atlantis the rarest weapon is reading a listing from before the World 5 update.

How do you get Wishes in Pixel Blade?

Four ways are documented in the current build: catching them while fishing, defeating the World 5 final boss, claiming daily login rewards, and buying them with Robux. The official description names fishing, World 5 clears and daily rewards as the earned sources.

Did the vaulted pity counter change?

Yes. The October 2025 build displayed a guaranteed vaulted every 25 wishes. A recording of the October 11, 2026 build states the threshold was raised, with a pity attempt landing around 30 pulls. Do not rely on 25 as the guarantee on the current build.

Why can I not solo World 5?

Because the world assumes a vaulted-tier loadout. Recorded play on normal mode with tier 6 legendary gear still described the incoming damage as unexpectedly high, and the damage check is compounded by the multi-wave rooms. Vaulted gear is the practical floor; parties of up to four are the intended answer before that.

Why did the World 5 boss keep its shield?

The shield is tied to the phase rather than to an arena object, so the statues around the arena are not the answer — recorded footage shows the boss can be attacked directly with the statues left standing. Burst damage through the shield is the only route.

How long is the World 1 quest chain really?

Longer than it looks. Recorded play found quest 7 asking for roughly 200 kills of enemy types that spawn 5 to 8 per match, which works out to 30 to 50 runs for two of the counters. Stop at the step whose rewards you want rather than clearing the chain, and take the wish payouts on the way.

Change Log

  • 2026-10-18: Created the Pixel Blade hub for build 2.1.1; recorded the live snapshot, the World 5 additions, the Chronos set passive tiers and star costs, the raised wish pity threshold, and the world 1 quest spike.
