Anime Final Strike Traits: All 22 Traits & Real Roll Odds (UPD 5)

Anime Final Strike has 22 traits split across five rarity tiers, rolled at the Traits NPC for 1 Trait Reroll per attempt. This page reproduces the odds shown in the in-game Index, converts them into effective per-roll chances, sets expectations per 100 rerolls so any code stash can be sized up, and maps the officially recommended trait for each popular unit.

Lore & Trivia
Overview
Traits are the single largest power multiplier in Anime Final Strike — Emperor alone adds +250% damage — and also the most misunderstood, because the in-game Index shows tier odds, not per-trait odds. The Mythic tier shows 2.03%, but seven traits share that pool, so your actual chance of rolling The One on any single attempt is about 0.18%, not 2.03%. Every table below lists both numbers so you can plan reroll spending with real expectations.
Timing matters too: the working Update 5 codes hand out hundreds of free Trait Rerolls, which makes this the best moment since relaunch to roll traits on a carry.
Verified by Charlotte Hayes on August 16, 2026 at 02:50 UTC: I reproduced the trait effects and odds from the in-game Trait Index transcription, converted them to effective per-roll chances (tier chance multiplied by within-tier weight), and checked the per-unit recommendations against the official unit index entries.
All Anime Final Strike Traits and Roll Odds
Roll odds below come from the in-game Index as of August 16, 2026. Effective chance = tier chance × the trait's share within its tier.
Secret Tier — 0.02% per roll
| Trait | Effect | Effective Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Emperor | +250% DMG, -20% cooldown, +30% range, +30% crit chance, +40% crit damage, +30% money | 0.02% (1 in 5,000) |
Mythic Tier — 2.03% per roll, split 7 ways
| Trait | Effect | Tier Share | Effective Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onslaught | +15% DMG, -10% cooldown, +15% range | 25% | ~0.51% |
| Dismantle | +60% DMG, -5% cooldown, +10% range | 15% | ~0.30% |
| Talon | +15% range, +30% crit chance, +10% crit damage | 15% | ~0.30% |
| Wealth | +15% DMG, +25% money | 14% | ~0.28% |
| Frenzy | +50% DMG, -20% cooldown, +10% range | 11% | ~0.22% |
| Berserk | +45% DMG, +15% crit chance, +10% crit damage | 11% | ~0.22% |
| The One | +150% DMG, -30% cooldown, +25% range, +15% crit chance, +25% crit damage | 9% | ~0.18% |
The One carries a placement limit of 1, so it is best reserved for a single hyper-carry rather than spread across your team.
Legendary Tier — 11% per roll
| Trait | Effect | Tier Share | Effective Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prodigy | +50% EXP | 25% | ~2.75% |
| Cosmic | +8% DMG, -3% cooldown | 20% | ~2.2% |
| Fortune | +10% money | 20% | ~2.2% |
| Sharp Shooter | +20% range, +5% crit chance | 20% | ~2.2% |
| Flash | -20% cooldown | 15% | ~1.65% |
Epic Tier — 18% per roll
| Trait | Effect | Tier Share | Effective Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Relentless III | +15% DMG | 33.34% | ~6.0% |
| Scoped III | +15% range | 33.33% | ~6.0% |
| Swift III | -13% cooldown | 33.33% | ~6.0% |
Rare Tier — 69% per roll
| Trait | Effect | Tier Share | Effective Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Relentless I | +5% DMG | 26.67% | ~18.4% |
| Scoped I | +5% range | 26.67% | ~18.4% |
| Swift I | -5% cooldown | 26.67% | ~18.4% |
| Relentless II | +10% DMG | 6.66% | ~4.6% |
| Scoped II | +10% range | 6.66% | ~4.6% |
| Swift II | -8.5% cooldown | 6.66% | ~4.6% |
How Rerolling Works
- Open the Areas menu on the right side of the lobby and enter the Evolve area.
- Talk to the Traits NPC inside the Evolve building.
- Select the unit you want to roll on — one trait per unit, and a new roll replaces the old trait.
- Each roll costs 1 Trait Reroll. The Index button in the same interface lists every trait with its odds.
Trait Rerolls come from codes, the Raid Shop, the Gold Shop, the Battle Pass, capsules, challenges, and occasional Infinity Mode drops. Because supply is limited, treat every roll as a resource decision: roll on units you have already decided to keep, ideally after evolution.
What 100 Rerolls Actually Buy
Codes hand out rerolls in bulk — check the codes page for the current total. Whatever your stash size, the per-100-rolls math below scales to it:
| Target Trait | Effective Chance | Chance of at Least One per 100 Rolls |
|---|---|---|
| Emperor | 0.02% | ~2% |
| The One | ~0.18% | ~16% |
| Frenzy | ~0.22% | ~20% |
| Any Mythic | 2.03% | ~87% (expect ~2 Mythic hits) |
The practical takeaway: a few hundred rerolls make a Mythic-tier chase trait realistic but keep Emperor a lottery ticket. If you land a usable Frenzy, Berserk, or Dismantle on your main carry, stopping there is usually the correct call.
Recommended Trait by Unit
Each unit's official index entry carries a recommended trait. Grouped by trait, the notable assignments are:
- Wealth — Yuneko, Yuneko (Jackpot), and Namu. Farm units turn the money bonus into faster upgrades for the whole team; see their income numbers on the unit roster.
- The One — Vesh and Vesh (Cross), Gojoe (Strongest Sorcerer), Ichiru Masked, Vasto Lorde, Toeji (Sorcerer Killer), Maheto (Perfection), Hero Slayer (Monster), Leona (Incarnate), the Vejita Super line, and Youji. These are the single-carry units that justify the placement-1 limit.
- Emperor — Red Pirate and Red Pirate (Conqueror), Falcon and Falcon (Reincarted), Whitebard (Captain), Jolis (Wizard King), and Acu (Prisoner). Only chase 0.02% on units at this level.
- Frenzy — the broadest recommendation, covering most meta DPS units including Akoza (Oblivion), Berserker (Vengeance), Buddha (Saint), Fire Hashira (Aflame), Ulquiora (Resurrección), Super Roku (Ascended), and Wind Prince (Spirit).
- Berserk — Arrow (True Sight), Kabuto King, SogoKing, and Komado (Sun); crit-leaning attackers.
- Talon — Tobito (Masked) and Enorai (Overcharged), where crit chance synergy beats raw damage.
- Sharp Shooter — White Hunter (Seastone), Dark Beard (Earthquake), and the support units Iryss and Oreheme, where added range improves coverage more than damage.
Treat these as targets, not requirements: a well-rolled Legendary trait on an evolved carry beats months of saving for Emperor on a bench unit.
Reroll Stop Rule
Decide the stop point before rolling. For a progression carry, stop at any Mythic damage trait (Frenzy, Berserk, Dismantle, Onslaught) or The One. For a farm unit, stop at Wealth and never reroll it again. For a temporary story-mode unit, do not roll at all — Rare and Epic traits will be replaced when the unit is benched, and rerolls spent there are gone permanently.
Notes
- Older community trait tables list different effects and odds for several traits (for example, Emperor at +300% damage or Dismantle at +25% damage). Those numbers predate the current rebalance; the tables above reflect the in-game Index as of August 16, 2026.
- Tier percentages shown in the Index sum to 100.05% due to in-game rounding.
Anime Final Strike Traits FAQ
What is the best trait in Anime Final Strike?
Emperor is the strongest trait by raw stats: +250% damage, -20% cooldown, +30% range, +30% crit chance, +40% crit damage, and +30% money. At a 0.02% roll chance it is a long-term chase, so The One (~0.18% per roll) is the best realistic target for most accounts.
How do you reroll traits in Anime Final Strike?
Enter the Evolve area from the lobby's Areas menu, talk to the Traits NPC, pick a unit, and spend 1 Trait Reroll per roll. The new trait replaces the old one, and the Index button shows every trait's official odds.
What is the rarest trait in Anime Final Strike?
Emperor, the only Secret-tier trait, at 0.02% per roll — on average one in 5,000 rolls. In the Mythic tier, The One is the rarest at roughly 0.18% per roll.
What trait should I put on Yuneko or Namu?
Wealth. It is the officially recommended trait for Yuneko, Yuneko (Jackpot), and Namu, and its +25% money bonus compounds every wave on farm units.
How many Trait Rerolls do I need for Emperor?
More than any code stash provides. At 0.02% per roll, one Emperor takes about 5,000 rolls on average, and each 100 rolls give only a ~2% chance. The same 100 rolls give about a 16% chance at The One and roughly 2 Mythic-tier hits on average.
