Overview
Last updated: June 8, 2026.
This guide covers the entire level 1-100 journey across all five major regions in VV: ULTIMATUM, an anime-inspired action RPG on Roblox. Expect roughly 12 minutes to read through the full route, though your actual playtime will vary based on quest efficiency and combat skill. Every level bracket, unlock condition, and boss encounter is included so you can move from the tutorial straight through to the endgame without guessing where to go next.

Before You Start
Picking Your Race
At character creation, you will choose between Shinigami, Quincy, or Arrancar/Hollow. The early game plays out the same regardless of faction, but each race receives a different power spike at level 25. Shinigami unlock Shikai, Quincy unlock Schrift, and Arrancar unlock Resurrection. If you are completely new to action combat on Roblox, Shinigami is the most forgiving starting choice because the Shikai questline is straightforward and the swordplay mechanics are intuitive.
Master the Tutorial
Do not skip the Fort Adams introduction. The Helpful Spirit NPC teaches you blocking, dashing, light and heavy attacks, and the posture-break system. Time spent here pays off later: enemies in Arctic Plains and beyond punish players who have not learned to parry or manage stamina.
Phase 1: Tutorial (Fort Adams)
| Level Range | Region | Key Quests | Bosses | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fort Adams / Gelum's Pass | Movement and combat basics | Gelum | Access to Soul Society Outskirts |
You begin in Fort Adams, a small military-style outpost that serves as the tutorial zone. Follow the Helpful Spirit's instructions to learn movement, basic strikes, and blocking. Your first real test is Gelum, a tutorial boss who teaches you how to read attack wind-ups and when to dodge instead of block. Once Gelum falls, the path to the main world opens.
Phase 2: Soul Society Outskirts (Levels 1-30)
| Level Range | Region | Key Quests | Bosses | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-30 | Soul Society Outskirts | Village quest chains across Sweetwater Pass, Nebukai Village, and Mizuki Sato | Kraus Bach, Masked Warrior, Giant Dragonfly, The Grey Hunter | Level 25 Shikai/Schrift/Resurrection progression; Refund Shrine |
After the tutorial, you enter the Soul Society Outskirts, the largest early-game zone. Three villages serve as quest hubs: Sweetwater Pass, Nebukai Village, and Mizuki Sato. Red-colored quests are main story missions and should be prioritized; everything else is optional side content.
As you move from village to village, you will face story bosses including Kraus Bach, the Masked Warrior, a Giant Dragonfly, and The Grey Hunter. Each one introduces slightly more complex attack patterns, so treat these fights as practice for the parry timing you will need in later regions.
At level 25, return to the appropriate NPC for your race and begin the meditation or trial required to unlock your first major power:
- Shinigami: Shikai
- Quincy: Schrift
- Arrancar/Hollow: Resurrection
If you ever need to respec your build, the Refund Shrine in this zone allows you to reset points.
Phase 3: The Marsh (Levels 30-40)
| Level Range | Region | Key Quests | Bosses | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30-40 | The Marsh | Mask acquisition quest chain | The Crocodile King | Access to Arctic Plains |
Entry into The Marsh requires obtaining a mask from the Soul Society Outskirts storyline. Once inside, the environment slows movement and enemy ambushes are frequent. The wildlife includes Marsh Turtles, Crocodiles, Toads, and Jellyfish. Crocodiles are particularly aggressive and can chain stun unprepared players, so keep your distance and strike during their recovery windows.
The zone culminates in a fight against The Crocodile King. Defeating him drops skills you will want for the next phase. After the kill, proceed north toward the Arctic Plains entrance.
Phase 4: Arctic Plains (Levels 40-60)
| Level Range | Region | Key Quests | Bosses | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 40-60 | Arctic Plains | PvP prerequisites; Everwhite Enclave questline | Argus, Mammoth, Waltz Luftwaffe, Evocator, Frigus, Lord Nivis, Nix, Securis | Access to Human World; The Gate; Dweller's Cave |
Arctic Plains is where the game shifts gears. This is the first region that gates competitive PvP content, and you will start encountering hostile players alongside NPC enemies. The fauna includes Bears, Panthers, Penguins, Monkeys, Lickers, Armadillos, Wendigos, Giant Dragonflies, and Worms. Boss encounters ramp up significantly here: Argus, Mammoth, Waltz Luftwaffe, Evocator, Frigus, Lord Nivis, Nix, and Securis all have distinct mechanics that reward careful observation.
Important locations to remember:
- The Gate: Leads toward later progression.
- Everwhite Enclave: A safe rest point and quest turn-in area.
- Dweller's Cave: Hidden side content and loot.
Once you finish the main quest chain and hit level 60, the route continues to the Human World.
Phase 5: Human World (Levels 60-70)
| Level Range | Region | Key Quests | Bosses | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 60-70 | Human World | City Streets, Trade Port, and Docks questlines | Parasite | Access to Hueco Mundo |
The Human World is a PvP-heavy urban zone. Every primary quest here involves fighting other players or defending objectives against them. Side missions are available if you need a break from direct combat. Key districts include City Streets, the Trade Port, and The Docks. The storyline boss is Parasite, a mechanically complex encounter that demands mastery of dodging and burst damage.
Because the zone is so focused on player conflict, travel in a group if possible and keep your spawn point updated at the nearest campfire or shrine.
Phase 6: Hueco Mundo (Levels 70+)
| Level Range | Region | Key Quests | Bosses | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 70-100 | Hueco Mundo | Ritual Site and Alto Mando questlines; some quests level-locked | Vasto Lorde, Junichiro The Wandering Swordsman, Calamitas | Level 80 Gauntlet; endgame content |
Reaching level 70 triggers an event: Kuchiki spawns and informs you about Hueco Mundo. To open the portal, find the NPC standing just outside the twin dragon gate back in the Soul Society Outskirts. Once the portal is active, step through into the endgame zone.
Your first priority is Enrique's Sanctum, the initial camp. Set your spawn point here immediately so you do not have to trek back from Soul Society after every death.
From Enrique's Sanctum, head toward Alto Mando. The path is invisible until you physically walk up to it, so move slowly along the cliff edge until the bridge materializes. Alto Mando houses a merchant who buys unwanted gear, making it the best place to clear bag space.
Notable bosses in this region include:
- Vasto Lorde (story mission)
- Junichiro The Wandering Swordsman
- Calamitas
Some quests are locked behind level thresholds, so if a marker refuses to advance, grind nearby mobs or revisit after leveling up. Hueco Mundo is currently the highest-level zone and the last stop before the level cap.
Bonus Endgame: The Gauntlet (Level 80+)
Once you hit level 80, The Gauntlet unlocks. This is a wave-based challenge mode designed for max-level or near-max-level players. Rewards include rare cosmetics and high-tier stat upgrades. Bring a coordinated group for the later waves.

Tips for Faster Leveling
- Accept every quest before leaving a hub. Red story quests give the most experience, but side quests add up quickly when completed in bulk.
- Learn the parry colors early. Green and orange parries have different timing windows; practicing on low-level mobs in Soul Society Outskirts saves you frustration in Arctic Plains.
- Set your spawn point at every new camp. Running back from Fort Adams because you forgot to update your spawn is one of the biggest time wasters in the game.
- Group up for Human World quests. Because the zone is PvP-focused, solo players are easy targets. A squad of three or four can complete objectives far faster.
- Sell excess gear in Alto Mando. Bag space is limited, and the merchant there pays decent rates. Do not let full inventory slow your questing.
- Save consumables for boss fights. Regular mobs can be chipped down with basic combos, but bosses like Parasite and Calamitas are much safer when you have healing and buff items ready.
FAQ
What level do I need to enter Hueco Mundo?
You must reach level 70. After that, Kuchiki appears and directs you to the NPC outside the twin dragon gate in Soul Society Outskirts who opens the portal.
How do I get Shikai?
Shinigami players can begin the Shikai questline at level 25 by speaking to the relevant NPC in Soul Society Outskirts and completing the meditation trial. Quincy and Arrancar have equivalent unlocks called Schrift and Resurrection.
What is the best race for beginners?
Shinigami is generally the most beginner-friendly. The Shikai unlock is straightforward, the swordplay mechanics are intuitive, and the race has a balanced mix of offense and defense early on.
What is The Gauntlet?
The Gauntlet is a wave-based endgame challenge that unlocks at level 80. It pits you and your party against increasingly difficult enemy waves for high-tier rewards.
How do I level up the fastest?
Stack quests in each hub before heading out, focus on red story missions, and always fight enemies while traveling between objectives. Once you reach Human World, grouping up reduces downtime from PvP deaths.
Why can I not start some quests in Hueco Mundo?
Certain quests in Hueco Mundo have hidden level requirements. If a quest marker will not advance, grind nearby mobs until you level up and try again.
