Tap Simulator Reborn Update 1 and Halloween Guide
Tap Simulator Reborn Update 1 guide: the volcano island route, the hourly Hall Lord boss, the Blood Moon Dial rules, why Halloween secrets hatch from every egg, and what trading did to pet values.
Guide Details
Tap Simulator Reborn Update 1 went live October 17, 2026, adding volcano island with two egg stations, the Halloween event opening half, player trading, and a 2,000-stock Robux pet gone inside an hour. Volcano eggs persist; Candy Corn, Blood Moon Dial windows and Halloween secrets expire.
Evidence basis, October 18, 2026: the Update 1 mechanics below are read from recorded walkthroughs of the October 17, 2026 build. Identity, patch window and the trading switch come from the official Roblox experience page, updated October 18, 2026.
What Update 1 Added
| Addition | Type | Expires? |
|---|---|---|
| Volcano island and its two egg stations | Progression | No |
| Halloween world, shop and boss | Event | Yes |
| Trading between players | Permanent system | No |
| Nevermore limited pet | Robux, 2,000 stock | Sold out |
| Secret Fusion | Teased, inactive | Not yet live |
The permanent half is small and worth clearing first. The volcano island opens through a coin-purchased portal, and recorded footage describes the portal cost as low relative to the other gates on the island ladder — notable because the gates behind it are not. The island carries exactly two egg stations, a Volcanic Egg and a Draconic Egg, and the two mythicals drawn from them in launch-week footage were a Magma Hydra and a Volcanic Devil.
The event half is larger and everything in it disappears. The Halloween world is reached through a portal at spawn and holds the boss, the trick-or-treat route, a Candy Witch NPC handing out rotating quests, a shop priced in Candy Corn, and a Ghost mutation.

The Volcano Island Route
The volcano island is a two-station stop, which makes it easy to route efficiently.
- Buy the portal. Fund it from the island you are already farming rather than detouring. Footage from the patch describes the volcano portal as cheap compared with the deeper gates.
- Clear the Volcanic Egg first. This is the station the Magma Hydra was recorded from, and Hydra is the headline mythical of the patch.
- Then the Draconic Egg. The Volcanic Devil was recorded from the second station. The two eggs do not appear to share a pool, so both are worth hatching rather than picking one.
- Use the magma rock node while you are there. The island carries a clickable magma rock that pays Coins, which is the same node pattern the other islands use.
One rebalance is worth flagging because it affects keep-or-sell decisions. Recorded footage of a legendary Basalt Bear showed roughly 84,000 power in the new build, against roughly 112,000 in an earlier recording of the same pet. Treat both as footage reads rather than published stats, but the direction — an existing legendary losing ground to the new mythicals — is consistent with a patch that raised the ceiling.
Two numbers this page will not give you: the volcano portal's exact coin cost and the hatch odds on either new egg. The portal shows its own price in-experience and gate costs move between builds, and no hatch-rate table has been published for the volcano eggs.
The Halloween Event, Hour by Hour
The Halloween half rewards scheduling more than grinding, because its three boosts run on different clocks.
On the hour: the Hall Lord spawns with the clock and escalates through two phases. Damage contribution is what pays, not the kill — finishing in the top three on damage adds bonus loot on top of the standard Candy Corn, potions and Gems. The rarest recorded drop from the fight is the event pet at roughly 1 in 5,000.
Once per day: the Blood Moon Dial applies a server-wide power multiplier shown as 1.75x for six minutes. The daily purchase cap is the important part. Because you cannot chain it, the Dial is worth holding for a session where you are already hatching or already fighting the boss rather than activating it on login.
During the Blood Moon event: the Halloween pet chance rises to roughly five times normal, which is the largest single multiplier attached to the event.
Hatch anywhere, not on the event island. Halloween secrets were added to every island egg rather than to a dedicated Halloween egg, and three recorded walkthroughs of the patch agree on it. The event zone is for the boss, the shop and the trick-or-treat route; it is not the hatching destination. Staying on the island you were already farming gives the same shot at the pool without the travel.
Two smaller pieces of the event are easy to miss:
- Trick-or-treat houses map to your friends list. Each house pays Candy Corn and dims once visited, and filling the bag pays a completion bonus on top. Recorded runs showed roughly 38 Candy Corn per house and bag totals in the high hundreds to around a thousand, with a "trick" outcome spawning a spider and paying extra.
- A traversal item from the autumn world speeds the whole loop up. An NPC in the autumn world's rebirth area, toward the back-left, hands out a bouncy ball that recorded footage uses for fast movement between candy stops.
What Trading Changed in the Pet Economy
Trading switched on inside the same window as Update 1, and the official description now reads "Trading is out!" The mechanism is direct: a player sends a trade request, and the two sides swap pets. There is no auction house or listing board in the build, which means there is no public price for anything.
That has three consequences for how you value a pet.
Rarity is no longer the whole story. Recent secrets carry serial numbers, and the community treats a lower serial as the more valuable copy. A scarcer hatch with a bad serial can be worth less than a commoner hatch with a good one.
A limited Robux pet reset the ceiling. Nevermore shipped at 2,000 stock, was raised from an initial 1,000, and sold out within the first hour. It sits at roughly 110 percent of the next best pet, and it is tradeable.
The season pet-power leaderboard now measures spending as much as luck. Recorded footage shows a player buying 30 Nevermore copies and moving from around rank 60 to rank 5 on the season board. If you are chasing that board as a free player, understand that rank movement there is partly a purchase signal.
What to Do Before the Next Patch
Four things are worth doing in this order, because the deadlines differ.
- Clear the volcano eggs. They are permanent content and the two mythicals will still be there next week.
- Spend your Candy Corn. It is event-scoped and does not convert to Coins or Gems, so a banked balance is worth nothing the moment the Halloween shop closes.
- Redeem the event codes before the event ends. Both live strings are Halloween releases; the current record is on the Tap Simulator Reborn codes page.
- Hold four spare secrets. The one Update 1 system still switched off was Secret Fusion, which is shown consuming four secrets. It was visible but inactive in launch-week footage with the developers pointing at a following weekend, so secrets spent on other uses now may be the ones you want back.

FAQ
What should I do first after Update 1? Buy the volcano portal and clear both of its egg stations, because that content is permanent. Then move to the Halloween loop, where everything is on a deadline.
Do I need to go to the Halloween island to hatch Halloween secrets? No. The secret pool was added to every island egg, so hatching where you already farm is strictly better than travelling.
How does the Blood Moon Dial work? It applies a 1.75x server-wide power multiplier for six minutes and can be bought once per day. The daily cap means it should be timed around a hatch session or the boss, not used on login.
When does the Hall Lord spawn? On the hour, every hour, escalating through two phases. Top-three damage pays bonus loot, so contribution matters more than the last hit.
Why did my pet values change? Trading went live in the same patch. Values are now negotiated between players, and serial numbers on recent secrets make lower numbers more valuable.
Is Secret Fusion available? Not in the launch-week build. The interface consuming four secrets was visible but inactive, so spare secrets are better held.
Notes
- Developer-published: the patch window and trading status, from the official listing updated October 18, 2026. Place ID 72858262610964, created August 4, 2026.
- Footage reads of the October 17, 2026 build: egg station counts and mythical names, the hourly boss cadence and top-three damage rule, the 1.75x six-minute daily Dial, the 5x Blood Moon multiplier, the roughly 1 in 5,000 event pet, the trick-or-treat per-house and bag figures, the Nevermore stock and stat share, and the Secret Fusion status. These are approximate reads, not published figures.
- Deliberately omitted: volcano portal cost, hatch odds for either new egg, hatch times, full island gate prices, game pass names and prices, and Rebirth tier names. No developer list existed for any of them on October 18, 2026.
- Open question: whether a Halloween part two shipped inside the same window is not settled by the footage reviewed here; the content described above is the part-one set.
