Kick an Uma Beginner Guide
Overview
In Kick an Uma distance is the whole difficulty curve. A Lucky Uma Block launched from the yellow pad resolves into an Uma Musume horse girl; timing that power bar well is what parks a Godly Kitasan Black on a barn pad printing cash per second. This guide orders a clean first session — kick, carry, place, then the one upgrade that matters — and ends with the codes page for free units.
For a fresh account, almost everything about the game is a distraction on day one. The loop that matters is kick, carry, place, spend, and a single paying pad out-earns any upgrade bought before it.

Step 1: Join a Server and Time the Kick
Kick an Uma is online multiplayer — you share the track with other players. Join a public server and find the yellow stud path in the starter grass. That is the run-up.
The power bar is the only skill check worth learning first. Tap when the marker is inside the success window. A Perfect Kick sends the block farther; a panic tap dumps it into the bushes.

Take about ten practice launches before you spend anything. Distance is the difficulty slider, so a good kick now sets up the whole session.
Step 2: Read the HUD After a Hit
Once the block lands, the HUD labels the unit with a rarity color and a cash-per-second number. That label is your whole decision input.
If you see no label, you have not collected the unit yet — walk to it and pick it up. An uncollected drop is not yours, and an unplaced unit earns nothing.
Step 3: Place the Uma on a Pad
Carry the horse girl back to the barn. The interior uses green platforms for empty slots and yellow platforms for occupied ones. Look for the E Open prompt to place.
Place the unit before you wander off to screenshot a distant biome. A pad with no unit on it earns nothing, and upgrading a pad only pays off once something is parked on it.
Step 4: Buy Kick Power, Not Cosmetics
Spend the first pile of cash on kick power, not a trail or a skin. Weights and the barbell are what let you reach the sand and stone biomes where better rarities roll. The Uma roster explains that a Godly on a cheap pad beats a Mythic on a maxed pad — so reach for the good biome first.
Step 5: Push Toward a Richer Biome
The starter grass rolls low-tier units. The desert sand path is where the Godly clips come from. Once your power reliably clears the first biome, aim your kicks there instead of sitting idle in grass.
This is why the codes page matters too — a code-redeemed Uma can start earning immediately without costing you a kick.
Step 6: Check Codes Before Grinding
If the code box is live, redeem active strings for free Umas and Carats. Mejiro Palmer is gated behind joining the Roblox group first, so read the notes on the codes page before you paste.
First-Session Checklist
- [ ] Complete ten timed kicks on the yellow pad.
- [ ] Place every unit you can carry onto an empty pad.
- [ ] Note the highest cash-per-second Uma and keep her.
- [ ] Sell or leave commons if the plot is full.
- [ ] Buy one weight.
- [ ] Kick toward the desert once you can clear the first biome.
Common New-Player Mistakes
Waiting to place before comparing
Holding a drop in the backpack while you decide wastes the earning time it could have been printing. Place it, then decide.
Buying cosmetics before power
A cute common on a maxed pad still loses to a Godly on a cheap pad. Power and distance outrank looks early.
Redeeming the wrong code
The group-gated Mejiro Palmer code fails if you are not a group member. Check the codes page notes first — the free string is not the same as the membership one.
FAQ
What is the first thing I should do in Kick an Uma?
Join a public server, stand on the yellow kick pad, and time the power bar to launch a Lucky Uma Block. Finish one honest kick-loop before buying upgrades.
What should I buy first in Kick an Uma?
Buy kick power — weights and the barbell — before cosmetics. Reaching a farther biome is the real progression lever.
Why is my Uma not earning cash per second?
A unit only earns after it is placed on a barn platform. Unplaced inventory produces nothing. Carry the drop to the barn and slot it onto a green platform.
What is a Perfect Kick and why does it matter?
A Perfect Kick is a well-timed launch that sends the block farther down the distance track. Distance selects the biome and therefore the rarity band, so it is how you reach Godly-tier drops.
Should I redeem codes as a new player?
Yes. If the code box is live, redeem active strings for free Umas and Carats. Check the codes page for the current list and group requirement.
